Boston Dynamics’ creepy robo-dog can now pee beer on command

He’s R2Pee2.

Less than a year after dystopian robo-dog Spot became available for public consumption, a sophomoric influencer has programmed the Boston Dynamics darling to — wait for it — pee beer into a cup. The viral video, which by the way contains some foul language, currently has more than 6 million views on YouTube.

“It’s an engineering masterpiece, I wanna make it piss beer into a cup,” exclaimed Youtuber Michael Reeves, who achieved his “live-streaming” dream through a combination of technical know-how and sheer immaturity.

In the 16-minute clip, Reeves can be seen reprogramming the cutting-edge canine to perform the sophomoric task like some low-rent Iron Man. After several failed attempts — which include Spot slipping in beer — he finally succeeds in making it pee a cold one into into a solo cup with near-surgical precision.

The clip concludes with Reeves having his cybernetic brew dispenser do its thing in front of Boston Dynamics headquarters in Boston.

“Get pissed on,” Reeves guffaws.

Warning: Video contains foul language.

It was revenge for, as the would-be MacGyver explains in the video, the robotics firm initially specifying that Spot was reserved for “construction companies” and other professional entities.

Average buyers can now purchase one on the Boston Dynamics website for $74,500 per unit.

Spot has been trained to do other off-the-wall tricks such as performing a choreographed dance routine so fluid it looks like CGI. The mechanical mutt has more serious directives as well from sniffing out radiation to helping to curb the spread of COVID-19 at hospitals.

The robo-doggies have even been employed by the New York Police Department a la the synthetic pooches in “Fahrenheit 451.”
