Sarah, 61, announced that she would be postponing her daily “Storytime with Fergie” YouTube uploads until Monday, April 19, following the death of her beloved father-in-law, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who died on Friday aged 99.

In a statement released to her Instagram page, the Duchess said: “Storytime with Fergie and Friends and Little Red News will be put on hold for a week, recommencing on Monday 19th April, due to the sad passing of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.”

Sharing a statement on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, Buckingham Palace said: “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

“His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.

“Further announcements will be made in due course.

“The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.”

His Royal Highness’ funeral will take place on Saturday, commencing at 3pm with a nationwide minutes silence to honour his death.
