Lara Trump has slammed ‘double standards’ in the way the media covers the children of famous Democrats and Republicans following Jimmy Kimmel’s fawning interview with Hunter Biden.
The daughter-in-law of Donald Trump appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program Friday night criticizing Kimmel for the softball interview, in which he joked about the First Son’s drug problem.
‘He was joking about drugs, prostitute. I have to tell you something, when we [the Trump children] were in that position, we took it very seriously because you’re a reflection and a representation of every American citizen. This is not funny. This is shameful. This is sad,’ Lara stated.
She then referenced Hunter Biden’s laptop and claims he leveraged his famous father’s political connections to get rich in the Ukraine.
‘Had we one 1/1,000th of what Hunter Biden has done, we would be locked up and they would throw away the key. It’s very frustrating, not only for us but for the American people to see the way that the media coddles and covers up if you’re the chosen party and it’s not the Republican party,’ she stated.

Social media users were quick to lash out over the light-hearted interview and slammed both Biden and Kimmel as ‘Dumb and Dumber’ for joking about his drug addiction
Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr. also weighed in on the Hunter’s Jimmy Kimmel interview, taking to Twitter to reference the comedian’s controversial blackface appearance in 2000.
‘Jimmy Blackface & The Crackhead Kid: A new western series coming to Disney+ this summer, probably,’ Don Jr. wrote beneath a picture of Kimmel in blackface cut against an image of Hunter Biden appearing to hold a crack pipe.
Earlier in the day, Don Jr. took another shot at Hunter on Twitter following his confession he was once so desperate for crack that he smoked parmesan cheese.
‘How much parmesan cheese did Hunter and Jimmy smoke together before this interview?’ Don Jr. tweeted on Friday morning.

Don Jr.’s name was brought up by Kimmel during the interview when he asked: ‘Does it make you crazy when you hear someone like Donald Trump Jr. say the only reason [you’re able to get away with things] is because you’re a Biden and because of your last name?’
‘It is wildly comical – that’s putting it lightly,’ Hunter said. ‘But I don’t spend too much time thinking about it.’
Hunter also said that he had never met Don Jr. despite being in some ‘rough’ places throughout his life.
At the same time, Don Jr. shared several memes on social mocking Hunter about his past crack addiction.
Hunter, earlier in the week, claimed he had once been so desperate for crack that he smoked parmesan cheese.
‘I spent more times on my hands and knees picking through rugs smoking anything that even remotely resembled crack cocaine. I probably smoked more parmesan cheese than anyone that you know,’ Biden told CBS Sunday Morning in an interview promoting his memoir.
