It read: “Midhurst’s Riverbank Medical Centre started vaccinating last week. Today Midhurst Pharmacy, led by Raj Rohilla, joined the rollout in north West Sussex.
The actor revealed he had received the AstraZeneca jab and went to express his delight at the new volunteer role, adding: “I get to wear hi viz and everything.”
The Paddington star signed up to be a volunteer at his local vaccination hub in Midhurst, West Sussex earlier this year.
The actor said that he and his fellow volunteers are for some people the first contact they’ve had in months.
