In a previous response to a fan, the star revealed that medical professionals have yet to determine the exact cause of his pain and he is given a different diagnosis at “nearly every appointment”.
Eamonn underwent surgery for a double hip replacement back in 2016, however it’s not known if his current pain is related to this.
He previously told The Mirror: “The pain was too much, the inability to stand – whether at a party, or to report on a news story, host a quiz show, to go shopping, play a round of golf, fool around with my kids or even walk the dog – one by one became too much.”
