Inside the Sugar Daddy website put back in spotlight over Rep. Matt Gaetz sex scandal allegations

The ‘sugar daddy’ website adored by the rich and powerful – including a disgraced New York Congressman, a hotshot Virginia lawyer and Tiger Woods’ former mistress – has found itself back in the spotlight after Rep. Matt Gaetz became tied to the website.

The dating site SeekingArrangement was used by Gaetz’s ally and former tax collector Joel Greenberg to meet women for sex, it is claimed.

Greenberg then introduced the women to Gaetz who allegedly paid them via Apple Pay for ecstasy-fueled sex at Florida hotel, according to a bombshell report about the Justice Department sex trafficking probe.

The damning allegations were revealed in a New York Times report Thursday night which cited several unnamed sources close to the DOJ investigation as well as text messages and payment receipts reviewed by the outlet.

SeekingArrangement is one ‘sugar daddy’ website used by Greenberg, where rich men pay women in gifts, travel, fine dining and allowances in exchange for going on dates with them, investigators said.

The site, which caters for so-called ‘sugar babies’ and ‘sugar daddies’, was at the center of another political scandal when disgraced New York Congressman Anthony Weiner used it to meet Sydney Leathers, one of the women he had extramarital sex with.

With subscriptions starting at $19.95 a month and launched in 2006, the site differs from standard dating sites by connecting people looking for ‘arrangements’ with members being able to ‘define their terms’ on what they’re looking for.

Traditionally, sugar babies are looking to be taken care of financially with their sugar daddies willing to foot the bills.

The site was also used by Tiger Woods’ mistress Rachel Uchitel to meet her married boyfriend and San Diego lawyer Ed Batts, 47.

Since joining in November, she has made at least two ‘arrangements’ with men she has met on the site – one of whom is Batts, 47, who dumped his wife and her three kids from a previous marriage five days before Christmas to move to Palm Beach, where Uchitel is living.

DailyMail.com obtained texts in January this year sent by Uchitel to a friend where she boasts about corporate lawyer Batts taking over her rent – but worried he was a ‘one’ in terms of looks.

Uchitel went on to talk about how he offered to pay her a monthly allowance, bought her an iPhone and offered to change the locks on his $5.5 million San Diego mansion so she that she could move in after his devastated wife was moved out.

Batts’s wife Robyn told DailyMail.com at the time how the 47-year-old kept his plans to move to Florida quiet, secretly filing for divorce on December 17 and shipping his Porsche to Palm Beach before breaking the news and leaving on a red-eye flight on December 19.

Batts has denied he had left his wife for Uchitel and claimed they were not dating.

Her other fling on the site was with a Florida businessman that netted her $10,000 – and she sent her friend a photo of herself cradling an envelope containing $5,000 in cash after they spent their first night together on his yacht.

Batts left his wife of six years and her kids from a previous marriage behind in San Diego, California, for a new life in West Palm Beach, Florida with Uchitel, 45, and her eight-year-old daughter Wyatt

Now Batts' devastated wife Robyn, 59, (pictured) has told DailyMail.com how he began an affair with Uchitel at the end of November after meeting her online and walked out less than a month later – leaving her heartbroken

The site defines a sugar baby as ‘attractive people looking for the finer things in life’ who ‘appreciate exotic trips and gifts’. It says sugar daddies are men who ‘know what they want. Money isn’t an issue, thus they are generous when it comes to supporting a Sugar Baby’.

The site is free to sugar babies and it offers a free trial to sugar daddies.

Men who then wish to continue with the service have several tiers of subscriptions to choose from that run from $19.95 a month for a premium subscription up to $249.95 a month for a Diamond membership, which buys sugar daddies greater visibility on the site.

The site was also the stomping ground for Virginia lawyer Matthew Erausquin who allegedly used it to meet half a dozen high school girls.

Erausquin, 45, a founding partner of top law firm Consumer Litigation Associates, was taken into custody last in December last year, accused of sex trafficking six minors after targeting them on the sugar daddy website.

Cops say he leveraged his wealth and power to lure the students aged 16 and 17 into sordid group sex sessions and paid them with off with drugs, cash and $20,000 handbags.

One alleged victim  told detectives she got an Uber from her school to Erausquin’s apartment where she took a hit of marijuana, passed out and woke up with no clothes on.

Another suffered a breakdown and had to be hospitalized after she caught a sexually transmitted virus, though the federal litigation specialist denied he was the source of the infection.

When two of the girls demanded more money and threatened to tell police they were underage Erausquin said he would sue them for extortion, according to a criminal complaint filed in Fairfax County, Virginia.

The bullying tactic was straight out of Erausquin’s playbook, according to a former girlfriend who told DailyMail.com how her high-rolling ex believed his wealth and legal clout made him untouchable.

Victim ‘J’ met Erausquin on the SeekingArrangement website, also known as seeking.com, where DailyMail.com can reveal he operated under the profile WantingMore465: ‘Your father would be upset but still respect you’.

He began by sending her $200 for a video of her sucking on a toothpaste bottle, the police affidavit alleges, before inviting J and her friend, ‘G’, for lunch.

The trio began meeting regularly for three-way sex, with the two students being paid up to $900 per session and receiving ‘edible marijuana from Erausquin in the form of chocolate bar edibles.’

J pretended she was 18 in order to join Seeking.com but she told cops that Erausquin ‘indicated … he kind of knew their ages the entire time and liked it,’ the filing alleges.

Investigators were also able to retrieve a Snapchat video she had sent him showing girls practicing lacrosse in her high school gymnasium.

J and G say that they introduced further girls to Erausquin, including ‘S’ who joined them for a foursome before confiding in another friend, ‘GB’, that she did something she was ‘not proud of’ and ‘got a lot of money for it.’

When S and GB met the lawyer separately for sex ‘they represented they were 18 years old but said it was ‘obvious’ they were not 18′, the filing states.

Consumer Litigation Associates said at the time that Erausquin had separated from the firm and been removed from all their cases.

‘We are still processing all that we have learned. We are saddened and will remain bewildered now and maybe forever,’ the firm said in a statement.

‘Sugar Daddy’ lawyer boasted he was friends with Taylor Swift, idolized womanizer Dan Bilzerian and claimed he was on the verge of becoming TV reality star

‘Sugar Daddy’ lawyer Matthew Erausquin boasted that he was friends with Taylor Swift and was on the verge of becoming a reality TV star, a former-girlfriend has exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com.

Creepy Erausquin, 45, claimed to have gotten to know the chart-topping pop superstar while living in the same apartment building as her in New York City.

‘He was obsessed with her. He would go to her concerts and sing her songs in the car. He even got the same type of cat as her,’ dished his ex.

Erausquin – charged with coercing six high school girls into sex – recently announced that he was filming a pilot for a reality show in Los Angeles, though production was apparently halted by the pandemic.

He also claimed to have locked horns with the so-called ‘King of Instagram’ Dan Bilzerian, a poker playing socialite and influencer with 29 million followers.

Bling-loving Bilzerian claims to have slept with thousands of women, as many as eight in a day.

‘Matthew told me the story that he was dating a girl who met Dan Bilzerian on a modelling assignment and ended up sleeping with him,’ Erausquin’s ex recalled.

‘But I think he was less jealous of the girl that he was of Dan’s fame and reputation. He followed all his posts on Instagram and TikTok, he even sent me a Snapchat he took while driving past his house. He really wanted to emulate him.’

While he didn’t have millions of followers, Erausquin nonetheless enjoyed a life of largesse and luxury between mostly rented homes in Virginia, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, New York and Miami.

He claimed to own a jet and a boat, wined and dined at the finest restaurants and lavished expensive gifts on his young dates.

‘As soon as we met he said, I’ll get you an apartment, a job and a G-Wagon (Mercedes G-Class). That was his favorite car,’ his former ‘sugar baby’ recalled.

‘Our first date must have cost a minimum of $5,000. The first time we flew in the jet he had an Aston Martin waiting for us at the other end.

‘He would boast about how much everything cost. He said he had paid for some sort of treatment to make his hair grow back and I know he has Botox injections.

‘As for his clothes, he would wear cargo shorts and those awful Affliction t-shirts that were big in the 2000s. His furniture was expensive stuff from Restoration Hardware but it all looked so thrown together.

‘He had a collection of hideous artwork. I guess it all goes to prove that money can’t buy you style.’

Founder Brandon Wade said on the site: ‘Every successful relationship is an arrangement between two parties. In business, partners sign business agreements that outline their objectives and expectations.

‘Likewise, romantic relationships can only work if two people agree on what they expect, and what they can give and receive from each other.’

Meanwhile, Gaetz denies ever having paid anyone for sex and has not been charged with any crime.

‘Matt Gaetz has never paid for sex. Matt Gaetz refutes all the disgusting allegations completely,’ his office told the Times in a statement.

‘Matt Gaetz has never ever been on any such websites whatsoever. Matt Gaetz cherishes the relationships in his past and looks forward to marrying the love of his life.’

A lawyer for Greenberg declined to comment to the Times Thursday.

Greenberg was indicted last summer on 14 felony charges including child sex trafficking, fraud, identity theft and stalking a former political rival.

SeekingArrangement have been contacted for comment.
