Orange County shooting: Video captures moment suspect is dragged out by cops

Dramatic video shot by a bystander captures the moment the accused gunman in the latest mass shooting is dragged out by police from an office complex in a Los Angeles suburb.

“Look at all that blood,” the person behind the camera is heard saying as a group of cops are seen removing the suspect from the two-story building in Orange County, according to the Facebook Live video posted by Newsweek.

Four people, including a child, were killed and a fifth person was critically injured in the rampage, officials said early Thursday.

The gunman was critically wounded when officers confronted him, and was later transported to an area hospital. It was unclear whether he was shot by cops or if his wound was self-inflicted, officials said.

In the nearly hour-long Facebook Live video, the suspect lies motionless, prompting the user to speculate that the gunman was dead as choppers fly overhead and sirens are heard in the background.

When police responded, shots were still being fired, police Lt. Jennifer Amat told reporters.

The identities of the victims were not immediately released.

Amat said a gun was found at the scene, but she could not say what type of firearm it was, which business the shooting specifically took place in or how old the child victim was.

“The situation has been stabilized and there is no threat to the public,” the Orange Police Department said in a post to their Facebook page.

Officials said more information would be released at a press conference at 10 a.m. local time.

The incident comes after two other high-profile mass shootings this month that set off a renewed debate about gun control measures in the nation.
