An investigation has been opened into how he fell to his death.

A Civil Guard helicopter was rushed to the scene yesterday to help help rescue teams overcome the difficult terrain.

Police are said to be interviewing at least on witness who saw the Briton standing close to railings at the cliff.

It comes a week after another Briton, 14-year-old Taya O’Loughlin disappeared on Majorca.

It sparked a huge police operation to find her but she was found two days later on Thursday safe and well and was reunited with her expat mother.
