Stacey Dooley, 34, and Kevin Clifton, 38, met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018 and embarked on a romance months after the dancing duo lifted the Glitterball Trophy. The documentary-maker has since dished on the couple’s relationship with fellow professional dancer Karen Hauer, 38.
The Strictly champion spoke candidly about Kevin’s ex-wife and explained they have an “amicable” relationship.
The Venezuelan-born dancer tied the knot with Kevin in 2015 but the couple announced their separation three years later.
Following their split, the former couple continued to work alongside each other on Strictly until Kevin announced his exit from the BBC show in 2020.
Stacey has now revealed that being civil with a former flame is one of the traits that she loves about Kevin.

“I would have liked to have fought for it. It took me a year after we separated to actually let go of him.”
Prior to Stacey’s relationship with Kevin, she had been dating her boyfriend Sam Tucknott but the couple split in 2019 after three years together.
Stacey spoke highly of the former couple’s relationship and remarked that she wished the best for Sam.
It comes after the BBC presenter addressed her ex’s criticism of Kevin and explained she never wanted a “slanging match” with Sam.
