Suzie Fletcher: The Repair Shop presenter says she 'really didn't want to do' BBC show

Recalling the episode, she said: “I’ve only ever seen a couple of snippets of my emotional breakdown.

“I haven’t watched the whole thing. It’s an incredibly personal episode for me.”

It comes after a rocking horse owner Julie brought in the item which had her later husband’s name etched on the bottom.

“Looking back at it, I realise I hadn’t scratched the surface when it came to the loss of my husband,” she explained to Radio Times, as Julie’s husband had also died of cancer.

“In a way, it was the start of the grieving process.”

The Repair Shop airs Wednesday on BBC One at 8pm.
