From 1972 to 1976, Elvis Presley lived with and dated Miss Tennessee model Linda Thompson. Now 70-years-old, The King’s old flame has shared some touching pictures from her relationship with the rock and roll legend. Posting some snaps from across her varied life, Linda wrote warmly of times she saw as blessings.
Linda wrote: “Throwback Thursday to when I was a mere 17 and when I used to dye my hair dark before I went back to my natural blonde…
“We never know what the future holds for us, but what is in our control is our attitude toward the surprises & serendipity of life as it unfolds.
“Looking back, I wouldn’t change anything, and I am so grateful for the blessings…”
Linda added that she was grateful for her sons Brandon and Brody from her first marriage and for her grandchildren Evan, Sam and Bo.

Linda also shared a video of herself with Elvis and Lisa from 1974.
In the footage, the three were leaving a Tennessee store alongside Memphis Mafia member Jo Smith, who is the wife of The King’s cousin Billy Smith.
While back in January, Linda also paid tribute to Elvis on what would have been his 86th birthday this year.
She wrote on Instagram: “There will forever be only one Elvis Presley… A true original.”
Linda added: “It’s difficult to imagine that he would have been 86 years old January 8!”
“And though he has been gone from this world for many, many years, he still reigns as the king…the greatest entertainer ever to have lived.
“He still has millions of the most dedicated and loyal fans celebrating his memory around the world! It does not escape me that I am so very fortunate to have seen hundreds of his shows and to have loved and been loved by the man.
“Elvis was and will always be a profound influence on my life… Happy birthday, ‘Buntyn’ wherever you are..”
