“But it’s always caveated by, ‘We don’t know how much more progress he’ll have,’” Kate added.
The GMB presenter revealed her husband’s doctors are always warning her that Derek’s progress may be halted at any point.
She went on to discuss some of the conversations she’s had with her children Darcey and William.
“Darcey said, ‘What if he comes home and he’s dad in the corner just mouthing pain?’ You shouldn’t have to think like that.”
