Grosjean sat out the rest of the season, with reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi, 24, making his F1 debut at the next race, the grandson of two-time world champion Emerson Fittipaldi.
Footage shows the car hitting the barrier, splitting in two and bursting into flames on the first lap of the race, which was red-flagged and in the trailer, Grosjean is shown talking about the accident, and how it affected him at the time.
“You almost accept that you’re dead, and I said no. It can not be the end,” admitted Grosjean in the Netflix trailer.
