Easter 2021: Easy cocktail recipes to make on Easter Sunday

Although things haven’t quite returned to normal yet in the UK, Easter celebrations will be going ahead in many British homes this April. We all know there’s nothing quite like a tasty cocktail to get everyone feeling merry, and what’s the only thing better than a great cocktail…? A great cocktail with a theme of course!

Express.co.uk spoke to a number of mixologists who revealed their best alcoholic combinations for Easter 2021, and there are some seriously delicious drinks.

From gin and vodka-based, to creamy or even fizzy creations, here are the best cocktails to make for Easter Sunday…

Baileys Original Irish Cream Whipped Air Cocktail

For the Baileys Original Irish Cream frappe:
180 ml Baileys Original Irish Cream (3.1 units)
2 tbsps cocoa powder
200 ml whole milk
100 ml fresh cream
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Handful of ice cubes

Rosemary Gin Fizz

50ml Cotton gin
25ml Lemon juice
25ml Rosemary and honey syrup
25ml Apple juice (optional)
Top Soda water

Method

Shake all ingredients (except soda water) in a shaker filled with ice.
Strain into a Hi-Ball glass full of ice and top with soda water.
Garnish with a rosemary sprig and lemon peel twist.
To make the rosemary and honey syrup, gently heat 50ml of runny honey, 50ml water and five rosemary sprigs over a low heat for around 15 mins, making sure not to let it boil.

Jaffa Cake Easter Egg Martini

25g Mini easter eggs
1 tsp Honey
25ml Crème de cacao (or other chocolate liqueur)
25ml Baileys (or other irish cream)
50ml Jaffa Cake vodka
Ice

Method

Crush the Mini Eggs and tip onto a plate. Brush the rim of a martini glass with a little of the honey then dip the glass into the crushed Eggs. Pop the glass in the fridge until you need it.

Pour Jaffa Cake Vodka, chocolate liqueur and irish cream into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice and shake. Strain into your glass and serve.
