Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez’s unexpected breakup may have taken fans by surprise, but the former Yankee is likely to bounce back if his impressive dating history is any indication.
Lopez was far from the first celebrity girlfriend for the pro-athlete, who’s held relationships some of entertainment’s biggest names.

Jennifer Lopez
Page Six confirmed in early March of 2017 that the stars were dating, with an insider saying: “They are really into each other because they have so much in common — from their Latin roots to their love of New York and their kids.”
Shortly after celebrating their two-year dating anniversary, the couple announced their engagement in March 2019.
Page Six exclusively revealed in March in 2021 that J-Rod was no more. Miami sources revealed that the pair were on the rocks in February, and by March they were in separate cities.
Apparently, a recent scandal between “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy and Rodriguez was to blame for the split, with a source calling it, “the reason they finally broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed by it.”
Anne Wojcicki
The 23andMe founder dated A-Rod for just under a year, splitting in February 2017.
“They were an unusual couple, from very different backgrounds, but they are both smart business people, and had quite a few things in common, including a fascination with the tech world. But, perhaps in the end, they were a little too different,” a source told us at the time.
Torrie Wilson
Rodriguez and wrestler/model Torrie Wilson began dating in late 2011 and were often seen working out together. They reportedly split in 2014 because Rodriguez was not ready for a higher level of commitment.
“Alex and Torrie would fight over his flirtations with other women, and he wasn’t ready to settle down again,” a source told Page Six at the time.
Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz dated the athlete for just over a year between 2010-2011. She also met his children and reportedly moved to Miami to be closer to him.
The pair split just one month after the actress confirmed their romance to Elle UK in June 2011, reportedly due to conflicting schedules.
Diaz married musician Benji Madden in 2015.
Kate Hudson
Often spotted in the stands cheering her man on, Kate Hudson dated the former Yankee for seven months, splitting December 2009.
Hudson taunted brother Oliver Hudson during a 2020 episode of “Watch What Happens Live, ” where she confronted her sibling for inviting A-Rod on his “Daddy Issues” podcast.
“You didn’t even say, like, ‘Hey, like, look, I’m thinking of interviewing your ex-boyfriend. Is that cool?’” Kate, 41, said, with Oliver, 43, simply responding, “I don’t want to get a ‘no.’”
Bethenny Frankel
The former “Real Housewives of New York” star confirmed in 2017 that she and A-Rod saw each other briefly, telling “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen, “I went out with him on two dates.”
Madonna
While neither Rodriguez nor the pop queen confirmed their romance, rumors swirled for months that the pair began an affair shortly before the athlete’s 2008 divorce.
Rodriguez’s most recent ex Lopez even joked about donning Madonna’s iconic “Like A Virgin” look during their 2020 Halloween party.
When asked by Andy Cohen whether her costume choice was “odd” given Rodriguez and Madonna’s rumored romance, J.Lo laughed it off.
“No. I mean, it was so long ago, so long ago,” she answered. “I don’t know. No, it wasn’t weird at all. I loved it.”
Cynthia Scurtis
Former psychology teacher Cynthia Scurtis married the former MLB star in 2002. The relationship lasted six years, during which they welcomed daughters Natasha and Ella.
Scurtis filed for divorce in 2008 due to the “emotional abandonment” of their children, as well as infidelity.
“The marriage of the parties is irretrievably broken because of the husband’s extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct,” divorce documents obtained by The Seattle Times stated.
