A brute randomly attacked a food-delivery man in the head with a pipe in Manhattan on Saturday night while snarling, “F—k you, Mexican!” according to cops.
The assault — which is being investigated as a hate crime — occurred around 8:30 p.m. in front of 176 Broadway in the Financial District after the attacker approached the 28-year-old Hispanic victim as he unlocked his delivery bike, an NYPD spokesman said.
The victim suffered a large cut on his head and was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition, police said.
The attacker and his victim had no contact before the incident, police said. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating, cops said.
