And Chrissy Teigen has allowed herself to continue grieving her son in public, most recently when she received a children’s book called Mommy Says I Have A Brother.

The 35-year-old model shared a snap of her gift-wrapped copy of the children’s book to her Instagram Stories on Monday, along with a sweet handwritten note.

Chrissy’s copy of the book was laid out on a countertop and was wrapped up with a mauve bow and string with little white poofs on it.

She had her elegantly manicured hand resting on the book and revealed just the introduction of the note that was addressed to ‘Sweet Baby Jack’s Family.’

‘Thank-you for opening this book and allowing me to share a piece of my story with you,’ the note began, though the book obscured the rest of it.

It wasn’t clear if the note came from the book’s author, or someone else who thought it conveyed their own loss.

According to the publisher, Iguana Books, ‘Mommy Says I Have A Brother is designed to open up a conversation with your children about a sibling they may or may not have met, making it easier for them to ask questions and learn about a special person that is no longer here with them.’
