The news came after Brandi and her husband Bryan announced the birth of their fourth child, daughter Brilynn Mari Redmond, on February 13.

‘Valentines came a little early this year. Welcome our sweetheart, Brilynn Mari Redmond,’ she captioned an adorable Instagram snap of the newborn on her Instagram.

Speaking to People about her exciting new arrival she said, ‘We are overjoyed with love and beyond blessed welcoming our little miracle.’

A silver lining to a tragic loss she revealed, ‘Brilynn shares a birthday with her late grandmother who we honor and miss very much.’ Brandi’s mother-in-law Jil Marie tragically lost her life in a car crash in October 2020.

‘Brilynn has brought so much love and completed our family,’ the Texas native added.

She is already mother to daughters Brooklyn, 11, and Brinkley, nine, and two-year-old son Bruin.

Brandi first announced her pregnancy in October, posting an Instagram photo of pumpkins with her kids birth years on them, with an additional one reading ‘2021.’

Touching on the loss of her mother-in-law amid the exciting news she captioned the photo: ‘God works in mysterious ways and we are so thankful for his grace and glory. You never know what his plan is but we know he’s got us in the palm of his hand.’

In early January she posted a photo of her very pregnant belly as she reflected on ushering in a new year while gearing up for the fifth season of the reality hit.

‘As I’ve shared my life with you these past five years, I can’t wait to share my growing baby bump with you and the season premiere of #RHOD.’

In the caption she also addressed a controversy she found herself in after a video she posted in 2017 that seemingly mocked the Asian community resurfaced.

‘As you’ll see I do read, listen and take to heart each and everyone one of your comments, thoughts, feelings and emotions. I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t and with that thank you. I love you and will continue this journey called life and sharing life with you. Let’s do this 2021.’

Redmond had been a part of the show’s cast since the it first premiered in 2016.

Hollman told Entertainment Tonight earlier this month that she thought the incident would be the final straw for Brandi.

‘I was surprised she came back this year at some points because she struggled with it. Like, ‘Do I come back? Do I walk away?’ It’s a hard thing, I think, for her to put out there, and she knew it would bring up a lot of things and it was a tough decision for her to make to come back,’ she said.

‘I don’t know if she’s always glad she did, but I think she’s glad she stared it in the face and was at least able to apologize to the audience and people she offended,’ Stephanie added.
