Spring is coming early for anime fans. This morning, Netflix announced that it will debut a new DOTA anime series based on the popular video game franchise DOTA 2. Produced by game developer Valve and renowned animators Studio MIR, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood will tell the story of Davion, a Dragon Knight who sets out to save the world.

WHAT IS THE DOTA ANIME ABOUT?

According to Netflix, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood will center on Davion, a powerful Dragon Knight “devoted to wiping the scourge from the face of the world. Following encounters with a powerful, ancient eldwurm as well as the noble Princess Mirana on a secret mission of her own, Davion becomes embroiled in events much larger than he could have ever imagined.”

WHAT IS THE DOTA NETFLIX RELEASE DATE?

All eight episodes of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood debut Thursday, March 25 at 3 a.m. ET.
