The Good Doctor season 4: Is The Good Doctor back on tonight?

The Good Doctor season four has seen the staff at San Jose St Bonaventure Hospital cope with the coronavirus pandemic, all the while still dealing with their own personal problems. Dr Shaun Murphy (played by Freddie Highmore) and Lea Dilallo (Paige Spara) seem to be going from strength to strength though after becoming a couple at the end of series three. The latest episode of the ABC series showed them overcome a hurdle all couples dread: meeting the parents.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from The Good Doctor.

Lea’s parents Pam (Julie Warner) and Mick (Barclay Hope) were eager to meet the man she was dating so they invited the pair for dinner.

Sadly, it didn’t exactly go to plan when her parents started awkwardly questioning Shaun about being autistic and later saying how they weren’t sure if she was up to such a serious relationship.

But when Shaun heard what was being said, he stood up for their relationship and how they were helping each other through the difficult times.

Pam and Mick then apologised and were eager to start over by taking them both out for dinner.
