Aldi fans go mad for gooey cookies that taste ‘just like Domino’s’ – and they’re £1.49

Fakeaway meals have become increasingly popular in recent years with people recreating their favourite takeaway meals from home. Discount retailer Aldi first launched their takeaway range with a Garlic & Herb dip and have now expanded the range just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Another wrote: “These are so nice, I got them yesterday and they taste just like Domino’s chocolate chip ones.”

A third commented: “They’re really popular in my local store, I managed to get the last box today.”

Fans also explained they can be found in the chilled aisles near the yoghurts.

What’s more, Aldi also launched a stuffed crust pizza and claims that it is more than 80 percent cheaper than Domino’s.

It is also served in a take-away style box, perfect for recreating takeaways at home for much cheaper.

One satisfied shopper took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page and said: “I personally thought it tasted exactly the same as Domino’s.”

Another added: “Best dip I’ve had in ages! I need to get more.”

The cost of this full takeaway menu from Aldi comes in under £10, at £6.25.

Aldi says that this is 84 percent cheaper than Dominoes price at over £40.

Other pizzas from Carlos’ range induce BBQ Meat Feast.

One fan took to the Aldi Shoppers Facebook page and explained: “I have to admit…I love the Domino’s Meteor but this basically tastes the same and is £14 cheaper. Definitely stocking up for treat nights.”
