Sorry, But I'm Here To Defend Easy Mode

Shouldn’t need to be defended. I’ve always enjoyed a good challenge but the older I get, the more I appreciate easier games. I have a mentally taxing job and some days after having to work over time, I just want to chill out and shut off my brain, it’s probably why I keep going back to Genshin Impact as it’s just a really chill laid back fun game.

Having said that though, I disagree with those calling for easy mode for games like Dark Souls. The difficulty is a part of it’s charm and while I admit it’s not really for me, I’m glad the style of the game has been successful and developers have resisted the urge to pander to those asking for easy mode.
