Amanda Holden net worth: How much does the Britain’s Got Talent judge have in the bank?

Amanda Holden will appear on our TV screens tonight in a new programme broadcasted by BBC One. Musicals: The Greatest Show will be hosted by Sheridan Smith, who will be a singing a duet with Amanda.

Amanda has a net worth of around £3.6million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com.

It’s a whopping sum, thanks to Amanda’s long and varied career in the spotlight, as well as recent contracts with big TV networks.

Born in Portsmouth, Amanda grew up in the town of Bishop’s Waltham near Southampton and joined a theatre company aged nine.

When she was 16 years old, she moved to Bournemouth and later to South London, in order to attend Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in Peckham.

However, the actress and TV personality’s most notable role to date is as a judge on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

She was one of the show’s original judges when it launched in 2007, appearing alongside Piers Morgan and Simon Cowell.

The show’s current judging panel still include Amanda and Simon, with David Walliams and Alesha Dixon as the most recent editions.

Since Britain’s Got Talent, Amanda has presented other programmes, including A Night of Heroes: The Sun Military Awards with Philip Schofield, and her own four-part series called Amanda Holden’s Fantasy Lives.

In 2012, Amanda presented ITV’s talent show Superstar and later, in 2014, she covered Holly Willoughby’s maternity leave on This Morning, co-hosting the show with Phillip Schofield.

The actress returned to This Morning in 2017, when she co-presented a number of episodes alongside Ben Shephard.

More recently, in 2019, it was announced that Amanda was to become the new face of Heart FM’s breakfast show, which is broadcast every weekday morning from 6:30am to 10am.

Amanda’s two-year contract with Heart was worth a whopping £3million, according to The Sun.

In her personal life, Amanda married comedian Les Dennis in June 1995, but the couple divorced in 2003.

She later married record producer Chris Hughes in 2008.

The couple have two children, Alexa who was born in 2006, and Hollie, born in 2012.

Amanda often posts photos of the children on her Instagram account, as well as numerous photos of herself wearing stylish outfits and glamorous dresses.
