A man has filmed himself cycling over the arch of a bridge in nail-biting footage. 

French stuntman Antoni Villoni was seen speeding across the strip of concrete just a few centimetres wide at a dizzying height at the Pont du Sablon in Grenoble. 

Fortunately, the cyclist pulled off the move without plummeting into the Isère river below. 

Adrenaline junkie Villoni, 28, can be seen taking a run up to the bridge before pedaling fast to make it up the steep incline.

The stakes were high as he did not use any safety equipment meaning there was no room for error

Fortunately he made it safely over the top of the bridge and was able to free-wheel down the other side of it. 

The dangerous stunt was shared on Instagram where it attracted thousands of views and comments from shocked viewers.

‘This is so rad!!!!!’ one person commented, while another was less impressed, referring to the move as ‘sketchy’. 

One person said: ‘This made my palms sweat.’ 

‘For how much money would you do this? Me? None, because I would surely die,’ another Instagram user remarked.  

‘Luckily he is wearing a helmet,’ another joked.
