How to clean a dishwasher: Why you should NEVER use soda crystals in the dishwasher

If you’ve accidentally put soda crystals in the dishwasher, don’t stress.

Mixing up dishwasher salt and soda crystals is an easy mistake and it can be resolved.

Dri-Pak’s experts recommend scooping out as many soda crystals as you can from the dishwasher’s reservoir and putting them down the sink.

Boil a kettle full of water and pour it into the reservoir to dissolve the remaining soda crystals and displace them.

Finally, fill the reservoir with dishwasher salt and run an empty wash to remove the soda crystals residue.
