Kate Middleton-approved Norland Nanny parenting tips include important weekend rule

Prince William and Kate, 38 and 39 respectively, employed a Norland Nanny, Spanish Maria Borrallo shortly after the birth of their eldest children Prince George, seven. She has helped to raise Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two.

Norland College, in Bath, is well known for turning out high-quality nannies, which have worked for high profile families.

Another Norland Nanny, Nanny Louenna, created an app to provide this expert insight to all.

Nanny Louenna spoke with Express.co.uk to provide exclusive insight to celebrate the launch.

She described a number of parenting tips amid lockdown, including an important weekend rule parents should stick to.

It is important to differentiate weekdays from weekends, the childcare expert said.

“Children who are hungry find it hard to concentrate, so prepare some healthy snacks to have on the table to stop little ones reaching for the biscuit tin.

“There are lots of snack ideas in the Nanny Louenna app.”

There are other important ways to prepare your space for home-schooling, she advises.

“Make the space your children are learning in an area which isn’t cluttered with distractions,” Nanny Louenna said.

Nanny Louenna’s app has been created for parents all around the world.

The Nanny Louenna app contains expertise from Louenna herself, as well as experts including pediatric first aid from Jenni Dunman of Daisy First Aid, pre- and post-natal fitness advice from top London trainer Lily Gredley, and speech and language expert Hannah Scully.

Parents can enjoy expertise on essentials from feeding, bathing and changing, to sleep routines, potty training and language development.

The app also contains over 100 activity ideas to do with babies and children that are both enjoyable and educational.
