The former US President and former First Lady are said not to “believe in lovey dovey stuff”. Mr and Mrs Trump left Washington last week to fly to Florida as President Joe Biden was sworn in.
Before their departure, speculation grew over whether the couple would get a divorce.
Last year, a former aide of Mr Trump, Omarosa Manigault Newman, told the Daily Mail: “Melania is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce.”
But a source told The Times this week that Melania will stick by her husband.
The source was described as a former friend of the couple.
They claimed the Trumps were not touchy-feely or sentimental like President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, or the Obamas.
The source told the paper: “They don’t believe in the lovey-dovey-type stuff. Not at all.”
On Friday, Melania and Donald had their 16th wedding anniversary.
R Couri Hay, a society publicist and “friendly acquaintance” of the couple, told The Times he would be “shocked” if Melania divorced from her husband.

During their time at the White House, Melania and Donald were said to have slept in separate bedrooms.
The Former First Lady just wanted to “go home” as Mr Trump’s time in office came to an end, sources claimed.
Sources told CNN that Melania was “not sad to be leaving” Washington.
Before the couple left the White House, Melania had not been seen in public since December 30.
A source told CNN: “Donald Trump slept in his own bedroom, which was previously a study or den during other administrations.”
But as the couple left the White House last week, onlookers noticed how Melania replaced her “scowls” with smiles.
Melania beamed and held her husband’s hand as they left Washington for Florida.
Mr Trump even described his wife as a “woman of great grace and beauty and dignity” during a farewell speech.
Mrs Trump added: “Being your First Lady was my greatest honour. Thank you for your love and support.
“You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all, God bless your families and God bless this beautiful nation.”
