Mr Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump, certainly received ‘royal’ treatment when he visited the UK in 2019, when the Palace pulled out all the stops to welcome Mr Trump and his family.
Mr Trump and his wife Melania Trump visited the Queen at Windsor Castle, joining the monarch for tea.
Mr Trump was also welcomed at Clarence House, the official London residence of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
