Genshin Impact update 1.3 live stream announced: Start time for 'All That Glitters' stream

Genshin Impact update 1.3 is launching in a few weeks time, and ahead of the new patch release miHoYo are holding a live stream showing fans what the new download will bring to the table. On Friday January 22 the Genshin Impact update 1.3 live stream will take place which can be watched on the game’s official YouTube channel. The Genshin Impact update 1.3 live stream kicks off at 11am UTC-5 (aka eastern time) which is 4pm UK time.

Announcing the upcoming stream the Genshin Impact Twitter posted: “Dear Travelers, Genshin Impact will host a special preview program for Version 1.3 “All That Glitters” on 22 January at 11:00 (UTC-5)!

“See you then, Travelers! Be there or be square! #GenshinImpact”.

The Genshin Impact update 1.3 release date is yet to be confirmed but leaks suggest the patch will arrive on February 3.

It’s also been claimed that Genshin Impact update 1.3 add new character banners.

According to the rumour mill, Hu Tao and Xiao will be two of the big draws of the 1.3 patch.

Xiao is expected to be the first new character banner, with this five-star character making his debut for the upcoming Chinese New Year Lantern event.

Xiao has already featured in the Genshin Impact beta so fans have a pretty good idea how the new character will play.

It remains to be seen what else update 1.3 adds to the hit free-to-play game.

But arguably one of the most highly anticipated new addition is the release of the Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact.

Developers miHoYo have confirmed that Genshin Impact is coming to the Switch, but an exact release window hasn’t been given.

And given Genshin Impact was first launched in September Switch gamers will be eager to know what they can expect to play the hit game.

Speaking previously about the Switch version of Genshin Impact, miHoYo communications Sam Lai said: “The Switch version of Genshin Impact is currently under development.

“More information regarding Switch beta testing and launch dates will be announced at a later time.”
