Three people were killed when a military helicopter crashed in upstate New York Wednesday evening, according to reports.
The fatal crash occurred along West Bloomfield Road near Cheese Factory Road in Mendon around 6:30 p.m., WROC-TV reported.
Videos on social media show first responders at the scene blocking the road.
Witnesses told the outlet they saw the chopper flying low near the ground.
It was not immediately known what caused the crash.
