Kaley Cuoco took to Instagram this weekend with a new post announcing the unfortunate passing of her dog, Norman. The former Big Bang Theory star was immediately met with messages and tributes from fans after she posted heart-wrenching black-and-white photos of herself and her beloved companion.
35-year-old actress Kaley Cuoco has confirmed the sad passing of her dog for 14 years, Norman, over the weekend.
The distraught star made the announcement on Instagram, and accompanied her post with two black-and-white photos of herself and Norman as a touching tribute to their time together.
Cuoco wrote: “Earth shattering deep gut wrenching pain I didn’t know was possible. Norman, you were my entire world for 14 years.
“Thank you for smiling at me as you left this world, confirming for me once again our language was ours alone. You will always have my heart.”

Following the overwhelming response to Cuoco’s sad news, she returned to her Instagram Stories to express her gratitude for her friends’ kind words.
She said: “I just wanted to say thank you to everybody. I can’t believe the outpouring of love I received in regards to Norman.
“I didn’t realize so many people loved him as much as I did.”
Norman’s antics have been a permanent fixture on Cuoco’s Instagram page and she even named her own production studio, Yes, Norman Productions, after her faithful friend.
His namesake company worked with HBO Max for the Big Bang star’s new drama, The Flight Attendant, as well as Cuoco’s DC animated series, Harley Quinn.
The actress also thanked her close friends for a huge number of gifts, messages and phone calls she received after confirming the news.
She continued: “I read all your comments today. People sent flowers and text messages and phone calls and I can’t tell you what that’s meant to me.
“I think I might have run out of tears at this point. You know when you cry so much that you actually don’t notice if you’re crying anymore? That’s kind of what today was.”
Cuoco wore a baseball cap branded with the Yes, Norman logo, ensuring his memory lives on as the star and producer continues to work on more projects.
The Big Bang Theory is available to stream on Netflix.
