Mystery Steam Game Reviews | Reviews Roulette: Witches, Kissing And Skin

Good news for the one person who likes Reviews Roulette – it’s back! This is the show where we download mystery Steam keys in the hope of finding a PC hidden gem. Our Steam game reviews get just ten minutes to impress us, but are they be a delight or a disaster? And will they win the Daddy Wallace award? Find out as Rock Paper Shotgun plays Reviews Roulette. And thanks to Logitech G and the G432 7.1 Surround Sound gaming headset for sponsoring this video. Check out the tech behind the G432 over on the Logitech G site: http://bit.ly/2FkTkbi

Believe it or not, but random steam key opening is a YouTube thing – people buy mystery Steam codes and open them, hoping to find the latest AAA nonsense. All the codes on Reviews Roulette are sent to us by indie developers – or have been suggested by other members of the RPS team – so take us to more unusual places. This weeks random Steam codes, for example, include a digger with no engine, a Japanese horror game starring Microsoft Sam and a man who is literally skin and bones.

Reviews Roulette reviews are not a proper critical breakdown – we are just trying to gauge whether we’d play more beyond the 10 minutes. In episode four of Reviews Roulette our mystery Steam key reviews take us to dead body in a nightclub in She Sees Red; a scary witches house in our Kengo Hazard 2 gameplay and a bloodied subway in Red Hot Vengeance. We also try to drive a digger with no engine in BH Trials, learn how to snog in Kissing Simulator and gain an unnerving virtual assistant in Voipas. Oh, and get our face kicked in by a donkey in some Shadow Fencer Theatre gameplay.

There’s one confirmed Daddy Award in the mix, but could it be Meaty McSkinBones (which does what it says on the tin), Ebola (with the world’s most casual zombie deaths) or Spider Derby. Summon the thunderpard!
