Kirstie Allsopp issues property warning as she shares encounter with ‘rogue neighbours’

Speaking on the Graham Norton Radio Show on Virgin Radio this weekend, Kirstie was joined by her Location, Location, Location costar Phil Spencer. As the property market continues to remain buoyant in the UK, more Britons are looking to sell-up and move elsewhere. Phil and Kirstie discussed their new Channel 4 show Love it or List it and the surprisingly “busy” property market.

Difficult neighbours can make buying and selling a home more tricky, especially during viewings.

The housing duo also commented on the state of the property market as more people look to move further away from the cities towards coastal and commuter towns.

Kirstie said: “I think people have realised that if they’re not commuting anymore, why would they bother to pay to live in such an expensive area at some point that is going to impact areas not just in London.

“I think that the buoyancy stems from a sort of delay.

“Given the housing market is generally driven by sentiment, I would have thought it should be dragging along the floor at the moment.

“But there’s an awful lot of people trying to do an awful lot of deals just at the moment.”

The Graham Norton Radio Show airs every Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am-12.30pm on Virgin Radio.

Kirstie and Phil’s Love It or List It airs on January 13 at 8pm.
