With Book III also in the works, Kemp indicated fans may not have seen the last of Kanan Stark (Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson) who died after being set up by Tasha (Naturi Naughton).
When asked about Kanan’s return, Kemp said: “I would love to see all different versions of that, to be honest with you.
“But I want to make sure that Raising Kanan itself has an opportunity to be its own series and not make that compete with Ghost.”
Although Jackson won’t be reprising his role, newcomer Mekai Curtis will be putting his own spin on Kanan’s teenage years growing up in 90s New York.
