Pig 2021 zodiac horoscope: What your Chinese zodiac sign means for you this year

The Chinese zodiac signs are linked to lunar years, so your sign depends on the year you were born rather than your birthdate. The signs are the 12 different animals from the story The Great Race, and the Pig is one of them. People born in 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007 and 2019 are probably the Pig sign, but double check online because the Chinese New Year starts anywhere between January 21 and February 20. Express.co.uk chatted to Feng Shui Expert Marites Allen (@maritesallen on Instagram) to find out the horoscope for people born on Pig years.

According to Marites, Pig signs have a lot to look forward to in the Metal Ox Year 2021.

She said: “Though theirs may not be a smooth journey due to the presence of the robbery and accident star in their chart, there will be some good news that they can capitalise on to make this year favourable for them.

“There will be a reward for patience and wisdom for the Pig.

“You should seek opportunities that will help you grow; and avoid succumbing to excesses.

“Carry the rhino and elephant keychain and similar cures to prevent losses and possible mishaps.”

Romance

Romance is looking a bit rocky for 2021, Pig.

Marites said: “Your romance luck for 2021, if not taken care of could be unstable, especially if you are single.

“In fact, to save you from possible heartache, it would be better to remain single in 2021 and focus on other things.

“The instability may lead you to enter into a bad relationship if you eventually force yourself to find a lover.

“You will also be faced with emotional crises as a result of a bad relationship.

“Wrap yourself with some mystic knot shawls or mantra protections to mitigate potential relationship issues.”

If Pigs are lucky enough to have or find a significant other this year, they will be very romantic towards them.

Marites said: “You may seek out a romantic vacation where you can spend quality time with your partner.

“This change of environment will favour you because it will help you strengthen your relationship and reignite the flames in your marriage.

“The Boar must remember not to use hurtful words on his partner that will leave wounds enough to hurt the marriage.

“If the couple has been dealing with a misunderstanding in the previous year, there are chances that the marriage will lead to a sad breakup.”

Wealth

The second half of 2021 is going to bring in some wealth.

Marites said: “The areas of income will mostly be from your workplace, especially if you are on salary.

“The year of the Metal Ox 2021 will give you many opportunities for investments that will yield results, but most of the profits will come in during the second-half of the year as there could be too many unexpected expenses that the Boar may be facing this year.

“Installing the images of the rhino and elephant symbols in the Northwest will help.”

Be careful you don’t indulge in unnecessary cravings and cut back on the shopping sprees.

Marites said: “If left unchecked, this will be the reason for your empty wallet.

“You will find yourself wanting to buy many things you desire even when you know you do not have the money for it.

“Even though your finances will be good in 2021, it will be prudent to have a budget that you can stick with to avoid any unpleasant situations.”

Career

You’re going to start new projects and create new goals this year.

Marites explained: “If you have been failing at work, you can make up for it by increasing your productivity.

“A short trip away from home will give you enough time to clear your mind and come up with fresh ideas to execute at work.

“To gain support from peers and team, install a mountain painting at the back of your working space.

“Otherwise, images of the Dragon tortoise behind your desk or an image of a Ruyi for power and authority must be placed.”

Most opportunities will present themselves to you and help you to rise quickly to the top, Marites said.

She added: “You will find progress generally in your workplace and will work to gain the trust of your superiors.

“It may take a while, but they would gradually begin to recognize your progress and your ability to take responsibility.”
