Arsenal legend Liam Brady has launched an extraordinary scathing attack on Mesut Ozil, saying he is ‘not a good guy’.
Ozil’s time in North London is seemingly almost at an end, with his relationship with Arsenal in tatters.
He has not featured for the Gunners since March and was left out of manager Mikel Arteta’s Premier League and Europa League squads for this season.

The telling move was a strong statement from Arteta that Ozil was out of the picture.
While some observers, including Arsene Wenger, have suggested Ozil’s creativity is needed for Arsenal’s success, Brady gave his full backing to Arteta over his decision to leave the German out in the cold.
‘I don’t blame Arteta over Ozil,’ he told the Keys & Gray podcast.
‘He gave Ozil plenty of chances and he performed for a couple of months. Ozil just reverted back to type.’
Brady, who made 307 appearances for Arsenal and won the FA Cup in 1979, then went on to attack Ozil’s attitude.

Ozil is likely to leave the Emirates in January as he seeks regular minutes on the pitch
‘He’s not a good guy in the dressing room; he’s not a good guy on the pitch,’ he said.
‘I’ve no problem with Mikel bombing him.’
While Ozil has recently suggested he is committed to helping Arsenal out of their current league predicament, it is increasingly likely he will be shown the door after Mikel Arteta announced he wants to shrink his squad.
Sead Kolasinac is the first confirmed departure, with the defender returning to Schalke 04 on loan.
Arsenal are also reportedly striving to get Ozil’s enormous £350,000-a-week wages off their books before making a shock swoop for former Tottenham star Christian Eriksen.
