Nick explained how his final ever shoots will take place around his 77th birthday, which falls on February 17.
It was then he discussed who he will need to say goodbye to, mentioning Susie, 56, Rachel Riley, “the vast production team” and producer Damian Eadie.
In regards to the latter, he remarked on what he was like behind the scenes and one particular memorable day of work.
On his exit, he commented: “I’d like to think by then [February 2021] we’ll all be able to have a valedictory drink, because I’ll miss them, professional and kindly as all of them are.”
