Tasked with providing some creativity in the number 10 role, Smith-Rowe grew into the game in the second-half. Will only get better.
Gabriel Martinelli – 6
The Brazilian has attempted to spark some life into Arsenal since returning from a long-term injury lay-off but he was quiet against Brighton. Replaced by Lacazette, who scored the winner.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 6
Returning from a calf injury which kept him out of Arsenal’s last three games, Aubameyang led the line against the Seagulls. However, the skipper struggled to impact the game at all in the first-half and squandered a couple of chances in the second-half.
