Prince Harry, 36, and Meghan Markle, 39, left royal life behind last March and have since settled in California where they have gained financial independence from the Firm. The couple have signed lucrative deals with streaming giants Netflix and Spotify and are poised to make inroads in creative spheres.
The Queen, 94, and Prince Philip’s, 99, youngest son Prince Edward, 56, once held artistic aspirations too and previously worked as a TV producer.
While Edward and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex, 55, have been working royals since 2002 and have provided vital support to the Queen in that time, a body language expert has claimed the Earl may covet Harry’s Hollywood lifestyle.
Prince Edward showed off his acting credentials while delivering a heartfelt message for Classic FM’s special Christmas programme.
A video of the speech was shared by the Royal Family on Twitter and shows Edward taking a similar approach to public speaking as Prince Harry, a body language analyst has claimed.

Body language expert and author Judi James analysed the new video of Edward for Express.co.uk and claimed the ‘rebel’ prince and his nephew Harry have a lot in common.
Judi said: “While Prince Philip is all about tradition, status and a gritty passion for the armed forces, Edward was actually the Prince Harry of his day: the royal rebel who quit the career that had been mapped out for him to pursue a life in the media.”
The analyst added: “Like Harry, Edward formed his own company to produce TV documentaries and like Harry, Edward shows in this video message a love of not just performing in front of the camera but also creating a similarly relaxed, non-royal and very approachable style as his nephew.”
Judi went on to compare Edward’s body language and rhetoric to Prince Harry’s.
The expert added: “There are no fake smiles from Edward here and his subtler smiling defines him as a bit of a realist rather than an optimist.”
“Like Harry though, Edward appears to have put a lot of effort into his screen appearance and in terms of technique and delivery he seems to show more talent here than his younger nephew in the US.
“Edward’s intonation is good enough to listen to for hours and despite the fact that we can see his eyes moving from side to sidetracking his script, he still manages to use verbal emphasis and pauses that make his delivery sound reasonably authentic.”
Judi added: “This suggests he worked hard on this casual-looking piece, rehearsing beforehand and working through his script using some of the professional techniques he might have picked up during his brief and ill-fated TV career.”
Edward and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex have been spending Christmas in Norfolk this year.
They attended church with their two children – Lady Louise Windsor, 17, and James, Viscount Severn on Christmas Day.
The Wessexes live in Surrey at Bagshot Park but travelled to Norfolk ahead of Tier 4 restrictions coming into force.
