Jurgen Klopp offers Liverpool injury latest on Naby Keita, Joel Matip after West Brom draw

“You have to use the chances when you have them but it is not the end of the world, it is a football game we wanted to win and should have won but now I have seen the full 95 minutes I feel they deserved a point.”

West Brom boss Sam Allardyce called his side’s performance “superb”, telling BBC Sport: “It was superb today. There is a lot of defending you have to do against a quality team with a fantastic home record.

“To the man, we frustrated Liverpool as much as we could. We had to take the sting out of them in the first half. We changed it in the last 20 minutes to give Karlan Grant a bit of an out ball and that worked for us in the second half too.

“We had the goal from Semi Ajayi and the Karlan Grant one-on-one so two good opportunities to score. We came out with a precious point for us.”
