Tyson Fury sends chilling warning to Anthony Joshua in latest training video

Tyson Fury has fired a warning to Anthony Joshua as he steps up his training ahead of their proposed super-fight. Fury posted a video of himself training in the dark as he described his next bout as a ‘fight for his life’.

Fury, who is no stranger to social media, uploaded his latest video to both his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

The 32-year-old recorded himself while working out on a treadmill in a darkened gym.

Staring down the lens of the camera, Fury then delivered a sinister message, presumably aimed at Joshua.

“Training in the dark alone. Because I was born in the dark”, he said.

“I train alone because no-one is going to help me when I’m in there fighting for my life.”

The British heavyweights remain locked in talks over their long-awaited fight in 2021, with an official announcement expected soon.

Reports have suggested that a verbal agreement has been reached, with minor contract details to be ironed out before the two-fight deal is announced.

The much-anticipated battle between two of the biggest names in sport is likely to take place in either May or June 2021, however, a venue is yet to be decided.

While the preferred location would be the UK, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has expressed concern given the current coronavirus restricted and hinted the fights may take place abroad.

“Obviously we all would like this fight to take place in the UK but you’ve seen London go into Tier 4 now,” he said. “Really, to give us any chance, we need a full capacity in the UK.

He added: “Of course there are many countries around the world that want to stage this fight,”

“It’s not only the biggest fight in boxing, it’s one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

Unbeaten Fury captured the WBC heavyweight title after beating Deontay Wilder back in February.

Joshua’s latest fight saw him defeat mandatory IBF challenger Kubrat Pulev with a seventh-round knockout to retain his WBO, IBF, WBA and IBO belts.

Following the fight, Joshua refused to commit to a fight with Fury, prompting The Gypsy King to jump on social media to call out his rival.

“There you go everyone, Anthony Joshua s*** himself live on television,” Fury tweeted.

“He got asked if he wanted the fight and he went around the bushes and put his a*** in the hedge.

“I want the fight. I want the fight next. I will knock him out inside three rounds, he’s a big b** dosser and I can’t wait to knock him out.”

His latest video continued the war of words with a chilling message for Joshua.

Fans were quick to point out the similarities with the Batman villain Bane from the movie ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ played by Tom Hardy.

In the film, Hardy’s character delivers a monologue about his love for the dark as he fights the hero.
