Joe Biden says he STILL believes Hunter laptop revelations were Russian disinformation

President-elect Joe Biden said he still believed that the stories about son Hunter Biden’s laptop were a Russian disinformation scheme, as he mocked the Fox News Channel reporter who asked about it.

Fox’s Peter Doocy yelled up to Biden after he took questions from more favorable outlets onstage at Wilmington’s Queen theater Tuesday: ‘Do you still think that the stories from the fall about your son is Russian disinformation and a smear campaign, like you said?’

‘Yes, yes, yes,’ Biden answered on his way out. ‘God love ya man, you’re a one horse pony,’ he told Doocy.

He likely meant to call Doocy, who has repeatedly asked questions about Hunter Biden and is the son of ‘Fox & Friends’ host Steve Doocy, a ‘one trick pony.’

Biden has continued to insist that stories about the contents of Hunter’s laptop are Russian disinformation, despite intelligence officials finding no evidence that is the case.

Trump-appointed Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said in October: ‘The intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that’.

Biden has offered no evidence to support his claims.

During the Tuesday Q&A, Biden assured reporters that his Justice Department would run independently from the Democrat’s White House.

‘I promise my Justice Department will be totally on its own making these judgments about how they should proceed,’ he said.

Early in the brief press conference, which followed a sobering holiday message from the president-elect, Biden vowed not to interfere with the federal investigation into his son.

He told an NBC News reporter that he hadn’t spoken to attorney general candidates about the federal probe.

Federal investigators are looking into Hunter Biden’s taxes, the Biden-Harris transition team revealed  on December 9.

‘No, no, I guarantee you I’m going to do what I said. The attorney general of the United States of America is not the president’s lawyer,’ Biden said. ‘I will appoint someone who I expect to enforce the law as the law is written, not guided by me.’

In October, The New York Post published emails and documents that were allegedly from a copy of Hunter Biden’s harddrive of a laptop that he left at a Delaware computer store.

The Post was given a copy of the hard drive by President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani.

The Trump-appointed Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said that the laptop information wasn’t Russian disinformation.

‘Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,’ Ratcliffe said. ‘Let me be clear: The intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that. And we have shared no intelligence with Adam Schiff, or any member of Congress.’

Ratcliffe was pointing a finger at House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, a California Democrat, who speculated it was the work of Russia.

Schiff was joined by more than 50 former senior intelligence officials who penned a letter saying the Hunter Biden disclosure ‘has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.’

The letter, obtained by Politico, was signed by officials who had worked in the last four administrations, including for Trump.

The information on the laptop tied the then-Democratic nominee more tightly to his son’s foreign business dealings.

Reports on the federal investigation say that President-elect Biden isn’t part of the probe.

Hunter Biden’s business dealings with China and other foreign powers are the reason for the federal probe, several outlets reported earlier this month.
