An active shooter has been reported at a Walmart in Sevierville, Tennessee, where at least one person is believed to be injured.
Police and emergency medical services were on standby on Wednesday afternoon after receiving reports of a gunman inside the superstore on Dolly Parton Parkway, according to East Tennessee Incident Notifications.
Dozens of shoppers were rushed out of the store just after 3.30pm with some taking shelter at a nearby Chick-Fil-A, local news station WVLT reported.

Restaurant manager Cody Cummings said one shopper said panic ensued after two men got into a fight which resulted in one of them pulling out a gun.
Customers were then informed over the loudspeaker that an armed man was moving through the store.
Sevierville Police confirmed two people have been detained, but no further information was released.
