Tottenham losing Leicester clash should trigger Jose Mourinho tactical change

Tottenham’s setup was far too negative, too.

They looked devoid of creativity throughout the contest in the capital, with a midfield three of Moussa Sissoko, Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko far too flat.

Mourinho, once again, was left hoping either Harry Kane or Son Heung-min would make the difference.

But with the Tottenham pair marked out of the contest, there was never any danger of Leicester letting their lead slip as the match entered its closing stages.

Mourinho won three Premier League titles at Chelsea while playing defensive football but those tactics, and those ways, are starting to look outdated again.
