Melania Trump 'shows no warmth or compassion to Donald' as pair navigate next move

Melania Trump stuns as she reveals White House Christmas trees

As President Trump and Melania prepare to vacate the White House, reports suggest they could be readying to move to Florida. It comes after the First Lady toured a $35,000-a-year (£25,000) school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The couple’s son, 14-year-old Barron Trump, is in the ninth grade, and could possibly attend the Pine Crest school.

It is around 40 minutes from Mr Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, where the Trump family is said to be moving their permanent residence.

And while the First Lady is wrapping up her charitable work, many are now looking to what Melania and the President might do when he leaves office in January.

While their next step is uncertain, many body language experts have tried to predict what they might do.

Yet, this has brought up claims concerning the pair’s relationship and how happy they are together.

Susan Constantine, a body language expert, alleged that Melania and Mr Trump did not have a loving bond.

Last month, she told Mic: “I don’t see any warmth or true love and compassion in that relationship whatsoever.”

She wasn’t alone in her assessment.

Talking to Marie Claire, Judi James, another body language interpreter, analysed the way in which the couple performed their first dance.

According to her analysis, she said: “The first dance involves one piece of eye contact and little if anything in what are called tie-signs: those small squeezes and pats or shared micro-expressions that couples use for silent communication.”

Mr Trump has been touted as a potential runner for the 2024 election.

Yet many have noted that this is a move his wife may not be fully committed to.

Nicole Moore, a relationship expert, argued that during Mr Trump’s first bid for office four years ago, Melania “did not seem to be genuinely happy that her husband ran for President”.

The life coach was reviewing footage of an interview Melania and Mr Trump had carried out with TV legend Barbara Walters, before the election four years ago.

Although claiming to be “very happy” that Mr Trump was eyeing the White House, Ms Moore said her body language showed Melania to be anything but.

She said that normally “when two people are in on something together, they usually turn their bodies and faces toward each other” if they are in agreement.

This is because the “body naturally goes toward the partner” and shows the “shared emotions” of both.

But this was not evident, Ms Moore claimed, especially when she looked at how the Trumps discussed their relationship in detail during the same ABC News interview.

A source close to Melania told CNN that the first lady “just wants to go home”.

Maintenance work is currently being carried out at the Trump family’s private residence in Mar-a-Lago, but Mr Trump’s neighbours have already initiated legal action to stop him from moving there.

They are referring to a 1993 deal that Mr Trump signed that bars him from using the premises as a permanent residence.

Before winning the presidency, Mr Trump resided in Manhattan, New York, where his Trump Organisation is based.

Meanwhile, yesterday, President-elect Joe Biden was voted in by the Electoral College, putting to bed the uncertainty that had been present since the election in November.

Mr Trump had previously refused to leave the White House, but said he would do so only when the Electoral College confirmed Mr Biden’s victory.

Despite this, the President continues to claim that Mr Biden won as a result of widespread voter fraud, something that has consistently been debunked.
