Chelsea Clinton rushes to defend Sasha Obama's 'privacy' as photo goes viral

British actress Jameela Jamil, musician Aubrey O’Day and American comedian Akilah Hughes have also defended former US president Barack Obama’s youngest daughter. MEFeater Magazine’s Twitter account shared a photo of an unidentified woman who users say resembles Sasha on Sunday.

The magazine captioned the post: “Sasha Obama is GIVING honey.”

The image in question shows a woman wearing a crop top sitting on a chair while posing.

A separate clip, shared on TikTok earlier this month, is said to show the university student dancing with a group of friends, Newsweek reports.

Ms Clinton, an author, is among those to defend Sasha, writing: “Oh goodness gracious what did I miss?

She told People: “Time just goes so fast.

“But like so many experiences in the last ten years, we wanted to make it feel as normal as possible, given our family’s circumstances.

“It was of course a little emotional to drop Sasha off at college.

“It’s an adjustment to see each other for a weekend here, a holiday break there, but the moments we do spend together feel extra special because of it.”

In September, the former First Lady spoke to Conan O’Brien about the Obama family’s quarantine situation.

She said: “We kind of had phases of COVID.

“There were sort of the early stages where we were all being organized and we would spend the days apart doing our respective work.

“The girls were still in classes in the spring, and so we would be working and then doing a little exercise, and then come together in the evenings.

“We would have these activities.

“We would have cocktails, and then we would work puzzles, and play games.”
