Aljaz Skorjanec: Strictly star inundated with advice after candid interview 'Exposed'

Aljaz Skorjanec appeared on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing with Clara Amfo but the pair were sadly knocked out the week before the quarter-final. The ballroom champion, who is married to Janette Manrara, has reflected on his health as the BBC star admitted to feeling “exposed”.

The 30-year-old spoke candidly about a recent interview he had on BBC’s Morning Live where the Strictly star felt all had been revealed.

Aljaz said he often “stressed” over his skin condition but was left surprised by the outpouring of advice he received from viewers.

“I don’t care half as much as I used to about it,” Aljaz remarked.

“You know, if I stressed about it for so long, you know, working on TV, being exposed physically like that and then having, you know, a skin condition doesn’t help in any way, shape or form.

The Strictly star admitted that he is slowly overcoming his skin condition as hoped there will be an advancement in treatment.

“I do hope that one day there is going to be a cream or a pill that people take and it’s going to make it go away,” Aljaz explained on the Power of 10 podcast with Graham Bell.

“But I know that we have bigger fish to fry at the moment.”

He added: “But I do hope that one day there is something done about that and people can, you know, get on with their lives and not worrying about a red patch on their skin.”
