It has been confirmed Graham O’Brien (played by Bradley Walsh) and Ryan Sinclair (Toisin Cole) will leave exit in Revolution of the Daleks meaning only Yaz (Mandip Gill) will rejoin the Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) for season 13. Even though it will only be the Doctor and Yaz, the pair will find themselves on some of their scariest and most exciting adventures yet.
With the news filming season 13 began filming last month, showrunner Chris Chibnall has teased what is in store.
Even before Graham and Ryan’s exit, he has promised there’s still lots of fun to be had with the Doctor and Yaz.
He also hinted fans might be hiding behind their sofas once more as he spoke about “scary” adventures.
Writing in his Doctor Who magazine column, he shared: “We are filming, I don’t think anyone on any production team right now would claim the new processes are easy.

“Making any television drama has, in one fell swoop, become more demanding than it’s ever been.
“And that’s before you factor in the usual Doctor Who extras of monsters, stunts and Welsh weather.”
Chris went on to reveal filming has been “brutal” due to the death on location.
“As I write this on a Tuesday, I think they’re still soaking wet from the previous Friday,” he continued.
Before the Doctor can get back to saving people and other worlds however, she must break out of prison.
The Doctor is imprisoned halfway across the universe while on Earth, the sighting of a Dalek alerts Ryan, Graham and Yaz.
They will enlist the help of Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) who returns to help stop the Dalek takeover – but will it be enough?
Speaking about returning to the BBC sci-fi series, John said of the storyline: “Captain Jack is a little older. He’s still fun.
“He still very much has a joie de vivre, a lust for life and a passion for saving people and humanity, as does the Doctor. You can expect cheeky lines.
“You can expect a couple of… shall we say a few sparks between he and somebody. He plays along with to wind that person up.
“Jack always seems to find somebody who has a heart and Jack then has a lovely chat with … I’ll just say someone he finds in team TARDIS who has a very big and open heart.”
