Just as its title hints, Wonder Woman 1984 will send Diana Prince (played by Gal Gadot) into the 80s against a brand new antagonist. This time around, Diana is pitted against Cheetah (Kristen Wiig), who has been granted some other-worldly powers following the discovery of a magical relic owned by newcomer Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal). The film is the latest in a long line of DC Comics movies, the latest of which was Birds of Prey.
Wonder Woman star Gal recently appeared on The Graham Norton Show, in which she was promoting her new film.
During her chat with the talk-show host, Gal reminisced about her time on the her first Wonder Woman film, which was released 2017.
The film was a smash hit, garnering over an incredible $800 million at the box office.
The Israeli actor praised her director, Patty Jenkins, who has also returned to helm Wonder Woman 1984.

Jenkins continued: “It is exciting for me to show her at the peak of her strength, but it is also very important that she fights an internal struggle: she is a Goddess and tries to help humanity.
“She is not only someone who fights evil, she tries to show bad people how to improve.”
Jenkins then went on to announce that she probably would not return to the series after the third film in the franchise.
She said:: “It’s an interesting dilemma. The next one [Wonder Woman 3] is probably my last Wonder Woman movie, so I have to put everything I want to show there. We have to think carefully.”
Chris Pine also spoke out about the new film this year, commenting on the state of Steve Trevor in the new film.
He announced: “What I will say about him is that he’s deeply, supremely excited. [Steve is] excited to be back with Diana. He’s excited about this world.
“Tonally, what’s different is, he’s not world-weary. He’s not jaded. It’s a complete 180 from the tone of the character of the first one.”
Wonder Woman 1984 is due for release on December 16.
