Looking to the future, the couple, who have a two-year-old daughter, Darcy, as well as Alix’s older children Holly and Isabel from a previous relationship, revealed that they have decided not to have another baby.
Host Dan said: “You were planning on having another child, weren’t you? and you’ve had to put that on hold.”
“It’s not on hold, we’ve had to park that permanently,” said Melanie.
“We did a lot of soul-searching and, knowing the situation we’re now living with as a family, it didn’t feel appropriate or right to do that.”
